We here at Frogman are proud to debut our newest website: villageatbrookwood.org. This southern belle may look like she’s always been the height of sophistication, but there was a time in the not so distant past that we had an awkward adolescent on our hands.
The Village at Brookwood, a continuing-care retirement community in Burlington, NC, charged Frogman Interactive with task of rearing its fledgling website. With just under 200 residents, The Village prides itself on its intimate, welcoming feel and wanted a new website approach that reflected that atmosphere. We gladly accommodated that request by incorporating elegant organic shapes, botanical supporting imagery, and the avoidance of hard edges where possible. We also worked closely with Patty Scotten, Director of Marketing at The Village, to develop a fresh web presence for the CCRC while maintaining the same look and feel of its existing promotional materials.

A screen shot of the home page of villageatbrookwood.org. It seems like just yesterday she was in diapers!
Take one look at The Village’s website and you’ll see we did not take our rearing duties lightly. We Frogmen raised our baby girl to be just as smart as she is beautiful. You’ll find the immersive, interactive content you’ve come to expect from Frogman: video testimonials, 360° tours, client-managed content, backwards-compliant HTML5/CSS3 code and, of course, thoughtful design.
Keep your eye on this debutante. She’s going places. Rumor has it her next stop on the social ladder is an interactive campus map with even more video and 360° tours.
