Everyone wants to see results from their marketing efforts. It is helpful to have measurable data; something you can grasp and assist with comprehension. Royal Oaks Lifecare Community in Sun City, AZ just got a healthy dose of hands-on assistance with the deployment of a new 42″ interactive touchscreen kiosk located in the reception area of their welcome center.
Leveraging many of the assets captured and deployed for their new website (launched in August), Frogman was challenged to create a unique kiosk experience that utilizes human touch rather than mouse clicks. And who doesn’t appreciate human touch? Attached to a custom kiosk structure that compliments the design of their interior (while also housing and concealing the technical components), the touchscreen is a luminous wonder that attracts residents like moths to a candle.
As part of a strategic effort to better utilize existing residents to recruit future residents, the Royal Oaks staff has been offering brief orientation sessions to familiarize everyone with the kiosk so they in turn can use it as a virtual concierge with their guests. Based on this footage, it appears the intuitive user experience has a shallow learning curve:
If you like what you see here, stop by booth #2134 at the 2011 LeadingAge Annual Meeting and Exposition – October 16-19th at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC – and see what all the touch is about.
