The Frogman crew is a humble bunch. We’re not in business to win awards, but we really enjoy seeing our clients recognized for innovation when it comes to the work we’ve helped to produce. That’s the case with the Brenner Children’s Hospital Interactive Tour that we produced for Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. At the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (CHPRMS) Conference held in Asheville, NC last week, the Brenner Interactive Tour was awarded a Gold Wallie Award in the Interactive Category. The Wallie Awards are composed of winning entries from hospitals and medical centers across North and South Carolina.
We’re really happy for Brenner Children’s Hospital that they were recognized, primarily because of the care the doctors, nurses, and staff provide for patients and their families. The Interactive Tour showcases much of this world-class care through specialized service areas, like the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We wanted to make sure the geographic region Brenner serves (Western North Carolina and parts of Virginia) understands the level of world-class technology and compassionate pediatric care offered by interviewing families that have received this care, so our collaboration with the Marketing Department at Wake Forest Health focused on an innovative approach to their Interactive Tour. The combination of 3D floor plans, Virtual Tours, and video make the entire tour very comprehensive. Patient and doctor interviews, as well as the Virtual Tours, offer a sense of comfort and expectation to a potentially scary situation for patients and their families.
So congrats to Brenner Children’s Hospital on their innovation and the recognition!
